Technical Integration Manager

Oversaw the requirements gathering, internal workflow design, technical interface integration, testing plan and cutover strategy for the broadcaster's new CMS system. Translated a previous RFP, facilitated workshop sessions to capture output and then translate user stories into granular workflow drawings, detailed use cases and dozens of technical specification documents.

The result was the moving non-linear selections to a unified enterprise system, introducing dynamic graphics, moving scheduling to BXF standard, new promotional workflows and all the financial and regulatory processes in place.

Proof of Concept Architect

Beta tested a new GV playout automation product ‘Skylight’ against a test plan, overseeing installation, project managed a small team, kept an issues log and led weekly conference calls.

Engaged the R&D laboratory at their HQ together with GV developers to ensure testing validity, completed several Visio drawings to aid our final report distributed to all major stakeholders.

Operational Specialist Advisor

The broadcaster had just acquired a number of music video channels and therefore the playout service provider had a rapid expansion of live services.

The client needed a steady hand in those early days and so was instrumental in making sure channel playout was stable with advice given on engineering of redundant systems high availability.
